October 29 A Road well Travelled....In shadows we live, with lives along side our lives where conscious moments fall in step in a parallel universe of light and shade beside our darkness. Its there behind a looking glass of yearning I touch you and am touched by you. Those are the moments we wander from the path and find a road on which only the two of us can travel where nothing of the tainted world that trudges on beside us can enter or even has meaning. Together we planted the seed in that place, in a place where we could nurture it and become a true part of its growth. Its there our true reality begins, the complete truth of who we are, and in that time we share we can see the clearest future, crystal in its brightness and we stand and imagine the potential of it all. We carve our promises in deep meaningful letters on the tree bark of that life, held within a heart, telling of a first love, a tender love for all eternity, skilfully fashioned by that love and with that love. Deep talismans of passion, which tell of hearts in pain and souls enfolded in hope. Secrets and pledges are made as this tree grows stronger, fed by that niche we have carved and filled with the nourishment of the purest feelings poured into it. There, beneath those branches we find strength, enough to tear down the barriers before our future and build new barricades against our past. It’s our place, our road and our journey where each day we find the road a little easier to travel regardless of the obstacles that land in our path. We’ve travelled through the spring of this tree of our life, seen the new beginnings, watched the new growth flourish and explode into bloom and now the unsettled summer with the rain and the clouds tease us every day between the burst of sunshine, but those branches are laden with new growth and one day those boughs will be the complete strength of us and within all of that, with that love carved deep upon its surface the heart of it will never fade and is where our future truly lies.
